I'm Anthony, a wedding photographer based in Birmingham, with over fifteen years behind the lens and a deep love for the moments people don't plan.
I've been photographing weddings since 2018, and it quickly became the work I care about most. The laughter during the speeches. The quiet glance across the room when nobody's looking. Your dad going for it on the dance floor at eleven o'clock. Those are the pictures you'll still be pulling out in twenty years.
My approach is relaxed. I'm not going to spend your day marching you through a shot list or barking at your guests to bunch up. I'll be around, I'll be paying attention, and mostly you'll forget I'm there. The group shots get done properly and quickly, and then you get your day back.
I photograph weddings throughout Birmingham, Solihull and the West Midlands, from Castle Bromwich Hall Hotel on my doorstep to The Mill Barns and Rowton Castle over in Shropshire. I take on a handful of weddings further afield each year too, including Allerton Castle in North Yorkshire.
Grand country house or village hall, two hundred guests or twelve, the approach doesn't change. I'm there to document your day as it actually happens.
I only take on a limited number of weddings each year so that every couple gets my full attention. If your date is in the diary, get in touch and let's have a chat.
Full-time firefighter, weekend wedding photographer
When I'm not behind a camera, I'm on shift as a firefighter. It's the other job that's shaped this one: very little rattles me on a wedding day. A postponed ceremony, a lost ring, weather that turns without warning over Castle Bromwich Hall Hotel or Rowton Castle. I adapt, keep working, and make sure your photographs still tell the truth of the day.

Common questions
How much does a wedding photographer cost in Birmingham? Packages start at £995 for half-day coverage (up to 5 hours), £1,595 for a full day (up to 10 hours), and £2,295 for a full package with a second photographer and an engagement session included. Every package comes with a pre-wedding consultation, professionally edited high-resolution images and a private online gallery.
Do you travel outside Birmingham and Solihull? Yes. Most of my weddings are across Birmingham, Solihull and the wider West Midlands, but I take on a handful further afield each year too, including Allerton Castle in North Yorkshire. Tell me your venue and I'll let you know.
How far in advance should we book? As soon as you've got a date and venue confirmed. I only take on a limited number of weddings a year, and popular Saturdays in peak season (May to September) go first.
What's your photography style? Relaxed and documentary-led, with proper attention paid to portraits and group shots too. I'm not going to march you through a shot list all day. I'll be around, paying attention, and mostly you'll forget I'm there.
